Fair Grove Lady Eagles • 2023 Missouri Class 3 State Champions

Fair Grove Lady Eagles defeat El Dorado Springs 54-52 to become the 2023 MSHSAA Girls Basketball Class 3 State Champions. This marks the first time in Fair Grove history that any of their athletic teams made it into any state championship game, let alone came out winning it. Fair Grove was down at one point in the first quarter by 14 points, but made it into halftime by being only down four points. Fair Grove overcame El Dorado’s lead in the fourth quarter and it was a back and forth for quite some time until the Lady Eagles secured the victory by only two points.
