Lady Eagles beat Leeton 56-25 at Skyline Tournament
With a first quarter score of only 9-4, what started as a tough game all around for Fair Grove and Leeton slowly turned around in the second quarter and quickly swayed Fair Grove’s way in the second half. Tough defense by Leeton stopped Fair Grove from scoring more in the first quarter, but as they learned what worked they were able to drive the score up to 26-17 by halftime.
Fair Grove shined in the third quarter scoring 19 points and only giving away 2 to Leeton. Third quarter scorers included Ashton Bell with 10 pts, Camdyn Hart with 5pts, and Cameron Green & Abby Green each with 2pts.
The Lady Eagles continued to shine in the 4th quarter scoring 11 and giving up only 6 points to win the game 56-25. They advance to the championship game vs Skyline on Friday, January 13th at 8:00 PM.
