Fair Grove powered their way to victory in the semifinals of the Class 3 District 11 tournament with a commanding 53-32 win over host Springfield Catholic. The Eagles’ tenacious defense stifled Catholic’s offense, limiting them to just six points in each of the first two quarters and securing a comfortable 27-12 halftime lead. Although Catholic rallied in the third quarter, narrowing Fair Grove’s lead, the Eagles remained composed and surged ahead in the final frame with a decisive 16-4 run to seal the win.
Leading the charge for Fair Grove was Abbey Green, who delivered an outstanding performance with 18 points. Camdyn Hart and Ashton Bell also made significant contributions, adding 12 and 11 points, respectively.
