Fair Grove Lady Eagles Fought Hard But Fall Short Against Kickapoo in Pink Division Semifinals

In a hard-fought contest at the Pink & White Lady Classic, Fair Grove clashed against Kickapoo in the Pink division semifinals. Despite their strong efforts, Fair Grove suffered a 52-44 defeat against a resilient Kickapoo squad.

Fair Grove initially took the lead, displaying solid teamwork as Abby Green’s basket and foul put them ahead 8-5. However, Kickapoo rallied back and seized the lead at 14-11, showcasing their prowess on the court.

Fair Grove showcased resilience as Emma Padgett’s impressive three-pointer momentarily edged them in front at 15-14. Nevertheless, Kickapoo’s determined performance saw them secure a decisive victory with a final score of 52-44.

Ashton Bell led Fair Grove’s scoring with an impressive 14 points, supported by Camdyn Hart and Emma Padgett, each contributing eight points. Abby Green, Hannah Maxwell, and Brooke Daniels also made valuable scoring contributions with seven, six, and one point respectively.

The Fair Grove Lady Eagles move on to battle El Dorado Springs for third place in the Pink & White Lady Basketball Classic. Fair Grove already beat El Dorado 64-73 on December 18th this year as well as faced them in last years’ class 3 state championship game where Fair Grove Lady Eagles took the state championship 54-52.
